Got a bit chilly doing the gardening this morning (well, more clearing leaves than gardening proper, but it’s all in the same general theme I feel, so is classed the same) so exerted myself a bit with some speedier doings before popping out for a bimble around the block to see how the legs are fairing.
I was none to keen to get going but as usual, once out, an analysis of the shin told me it has already started to ache a tiny bit and needs treating a bit gently but generally things are all good.
So a lap of the country lanes before a brief diversion onto a bit of made-up footpath and…bah! It’s all a bit sloppy and instant regret didn’t assist a wet foot to keep me honest for another couple of miles.
Ah, well, it’s all good practice for Grim in two weeks.
Not much else of note happened, really. The pace came easily, the miles eased in and day two of Janathon is complete. Some good blogs are joining some good efforts and it’s all very encouraging that so much effort is going into something that came out of very little…well, Joggerblogger (read all about him from my blogroll to the right) having a moment of inspiration with Preston several summers ago. Good man, that’s what I say.
Well, it is until I become too sore to carry on, anyway!
