Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
A day of meetings and rushing around in between had me get home just about on time but then a trip to the station to drop off Jogblog (who should have cycled for Janathon points, really) followed by actually cooking my own dinner, then washing up, as well as doing a load of washing and making the fire and stuff, had me both worn out and ready for bed before I even thought my dinner must have gone down and it’s time for a run.
But these things must be done, so I climbed into running attire and set off for a slow and journeyman 3.5 miles of Janathon.
And I’ve picked up a new niggle in my left upper foot, which is annoying at present and doesn’t want to get any worse before it becomes a bit more than that. It’s a bit of pain in the bones just behind the second toe that must be causing me to carry the leg slightly because there’s also a tighnesss just now in the left shin muscle. Nothing more than a hassle at the moment, but maybe a good enough excuse for a really short run tomorrow evening!!
Everything was uneventful this evening, except my desire to be home and resting before a good night in bed. For which I am about to start preparations. A trip to pick JB up from the station in about an hour will just about see me off.
1917.41 miles to go.
